CPR, first-aid training organised for police personnel, students in Panchkula
A special CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training session was organised today at Panchkula Police Lines by the Red Cross Society, Sector 15. The programme aimed to equip police personnel and students with essential life-saving skills to handle medical emergencies and provide timely first aid.
During the session, Red Cross trainers Neelam Kaushik, Ramesh Chaudhary and Gambhir Singh conducted practical demonstrations on how to perform CPR in cases of road accidents, cardiac arrest or other emergency situations.
Participants were also briefed on various first-aid techniques and the importance of quick intervention in saving lives. The session was held in the presence of Sub-Inspector Ramu Swami, and attended by 40 rider police personnel from Panchkula Police and students studying at the Police Line Library. In total, 70 participants received hands-on training.
