Popular OTT platform Tarang Plus’ compelling supernatural mystery ‘Ritukha’ is all set to start streaming from October 20, the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the festival of lights. The supernatural mystery series tells a gripping tale of Odisha’s timeless folklore, supernatural presence and lost rituals, with a contemporary narrative.

Written by Somio R, the series has been directed by Suraj Mohapatra with an ensemble cast including versatile actors like Jagannath Seth, Sarthak Bhardwaj, Biswarupa Rout, Raka, Bidu, Manjulata Pradhan, Nikhilesh Ghosh, Pradyumna Lenka, Suvendra Kumar Malla, Mita Chakraborty, Mamata Manjari Panda, Debasish Mishra, Jyoti Sankar Das, Kamal Lochan Rout, Riyaz Khan, Shree Radha, Noor, and Soumya Ranjan Mallick.
Tale of Mystery & Horror
The series revolves around Amit, a freelance photographer from the city, who has embarked on a unique journey to the remote village of Rambhadeipur near Jagatsinghpur to document an ancient temple and the intriguing local folklore.
During his visits, Amit senses a mysterious, supernatural presence within the village. The village is said to be enveloped in repeating cycles of strange events and stories, creating an atmosphere of mystery. Villagers speak in whispers about ‘Ritukha’ a term linked to seasonal cycles and supernatural phenomena.
Through his exploration, Amit uncovers tales of lost rituals, forgotten love, and betrayal — all seemingly tied to the never-ending cycle of Ritukha.
