Diwali Weather Update Live: The weather in North India is expected to be quite variable during this Diwali. According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi-NCR may experience light fog and haze from October 19 to 21, which will make the mornings feel colder. Meanwhile, the Air Quality Index (AQI) remains above 200, with no improvement expected until October 22. While daytime temperatures may be slightly warm, the chill will continue at night. As per IMD, due to cyclonic circulation and the Northeast Monsoon, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, southern parts of Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. Puducherry and Lakshadweep will also be affected. Yellow alerts have been issued in all these states.
