What Global Employability Test Revealed?

As per the Global Employability Test, In 2019, 45.6 percent of women were employable but this figure dropped to 41.25 percent in two years (2021). However, it increased to 47 percent in 2020 and continued fluctuating 53.28 percent in 2022. The figure reported in 2023 was 52.8, and 50.86 percent last year. in 2025, 47.53 percent of women were employable. These figures show progress, but it is also a fact that more efforts are needed to boost women’s participation in the workforce.

As per the report, women professionals are attracted to areas with superior infrastructure, safety, and employment opportunities. On the other hand, states that support women but lack in structures, are making less progress.
