'Karnataka Is Not Congress ATM': DKS, Siddaramaiah Slam BJP Over Loot Row
The political slugfest in Karnataka has intensified ahead of the Bihar elections, with the BJP accusing the Congress government of turning the state into an "ATM" to fund its poll campaign. BJP leaders allege that the Congress ministers have been given financial targets and that project renewals are being misused for extortion.
Hitting back, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar dismissed the allegations as "baseless" and "pure lies." Shivakumar said the BJP is spreading misinformation to divert attention from its failures, while Siddaramaiah accused the opposition of resorting to falsehoods to gain political mileage.
