'Dude' worldwide box office collection Day 5 and weekend updated: Another Rs 100 crore grosser loading for Pradeep Ranganathan

Pradeep Ranganathan seems poised to complete hat-trick box office successes as hero with his latest release Dude performing well in its opening week. The comedy entertainer released on October 17 to mixed reviews but has made optimal use of the Diwali season to keep the cash registers ringing in the opening week.

The four-day collections of the film in India have come to Rs 49.50 crore with overseas territories adding a huge Rs 17.20 crore, taking the four-day worldwide gross to Rs 66.70 crore. It is an outstanding opening and comfortably Pradeep's biggest opener ever with the Rs 100 crore mark now a mere formality for the film.

In Tamil Nadu, Dude grossed Rs 32 crore in four days with the Diwali holiday being the biggest day for the film. The trends have been rock-solid and with Tuesday also being a holiday in the state, another strong day is on the cards. The collections are steady in the Telugu states too, with a reported gross of Rs 11.30 crore while Karnataka has recorded collections of Rs 3.50 crore.

Kerala has shown decent numbers with Rs 2.30 crore gross while the Rest of India hasn't had much to show with Rs 40 lakh from the northern belts. On its fifth day, another double-digit gross in India is confirmed and it's India gross after five days is expected to be around Rs 58-59 crore.

Day 5 has seen similar trends in morning and afternoon shows as compared to the previous two days, and early estimates suggest another lucrative day at the box office for Dude.
