'Bison Kaalamaadan' Day 5 Box Office Collection: How much did Dhruv Vikram starrer mint in domestic collection

Bison Kaalamaadan starring Dhruv Vikram has raked in Rs 21.11 crore, as per early estimates the first five days. Released on October 17, the Tamil sports drama has lured moviegoers to theatres during the Diwali weekend.

On Day 5, Bison Kaalamaadan collected Rs 4.51 crore, as of 9 pm, reported Sacnilk. This is Dhruv Vikram's comeback movie as he returns to the big screen after five years.

The Mari Selvaraj directorial, which is inspired by the life of kabbadi player Manathi Ganesan, is being hailed for its gripping storytelling and the performance of Dhruv. He plays Kittan, who is passionate about kabaddi and pursues his dreams defying all the odds. Anupama Parameswaran, Pasupathy, Ameer, Lal, Rajisha Vijayan, and Azhagam Perumal are also part of the cast.

Bison Kaalamaadan bagged just Rs 2.7 crore on the opening day. However, during the Diwali weekend, the collections climbed considerably. On Saturday, the movie managed to rake in Rs 3.4 crore while on Sunday, it minted Rs 4.5 crore. On Diwali day, the film collected Rs 6 crore not just because of the holiday but also thanks to the word-of-mouth.

The worldwide collection of Bison Kaalamaadan reached Rs 24.5 crore in the first four days, including Rs 5.05 crore from overseas box office. The movie raked in Rs 17.75 crore from Tamil Nadu alone. It collected Rs 54 lakh from Kerala, while it earned Rs 90 lakh from Karnataka and Rs 3 lakh from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It also minted Rs 23 lakh from other parts of India.
