IndiGo announced that it would operate flights from all three terminals of the Delhi airport from October 26.
The revamped T2 terminal will resume operations on October 26, adding to the already operational T1 and T3 (international) of the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA).
Agencies reported that IndiGo will operate flights numbered 6E 2000-2999 to and from T2, and flights numbered 6E 5000-5999, along with all international departures, to and from T3. Domestic flights will continue to operate to and from T1.
Airbus deal inked
Last Friday, IndiGo inked a deal with Airbus to confirm the conversion of 30 out of its 70 purchase rights of Airbus A350-900 aircraft into firm orders. IndiGo and Airbus had already signed the MoU for these additional 30 aircraft back in June 2025.
With the latest deal, the carrier will double its wide-body order from 30 to 60 Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
"The conversion of this MoU into a firm order for 30 additional A350-900s is a testament to our confidence in the future of Indian aviation and our strategic partnership with Airbus, further reinforced by the strong start of our long-haul operations," said IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers.
