CBSE has issued an important notice regarding the essay and design competition. Students are invited to apply. Necessary instructions have also been provided to schools. Both teachers and students are eligible to participate.
CBSE Notice: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notice to the heads of all affiliated schools regarding its e-magazine, Senbosec, for the July-December 2025 session. Schools and teachers are invited to submit articles and cover designs for the competition. The notice also shares the application link. Top entries will be published in the e-magazine. This year, the theme is “Moving towards Learning: Schools as Pillars of a Self-Reliant India,” which has been designed in line with the National Education Policy 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education 2023.
The CBSE e-magazine, Senbosec, serves as a platform for sharing ideas and keeping schools informed of the latest developments provided by the Board. Its aim is to showcase how schools are fostering a sense of self-reliance in students and developing them as innovators, problem solvers, and community leaders. The competition also aims to document aspects of entrepreneurship management, revitalize indigenous wisdom, promote inclusive education, and honor the talents of teachers. Students and teachers are open to participation.
Schools must submit entries by November 20th.
The Board has requested all schools to share innovations, teaching methods, and experiences. The deadline is November 20th, 2025. This year, the subthemes for the articles are “Entrepreneurial Classroom: Mini Startups by Students,” “Local Wisdom, Global Perspectives: Revitalizing Indigenous Knowledge,” “Self-Reliance through Inclusive Education,” and “Atmanirbhar Teachers: Innovators in the Teacher Classroom.”
The cover design competition will be open to students. Students can submit cover designs based on subtopics through the Google Form link provided in the notice. The best cover design submitted by a student will be used in the e-magazine.
Keep these things in mind:
The cover page design must be in portrait orientation. It must be student-created. The use of AI and plagiarism will not be permitted. Landscape orientation will not be accepted. The article must include a title, introduction, main content, and conclusion. Articles can be submitted in both Hindi and English. A color passport-size photograph must be submitted along with the name, class, school name, address, and school affiliation number. The article must be in MS Word format.
