Tata Motors Delivers Over 1 Lakh Vehicles During Festive Period

New Delhi: During the 30-day period from Navratri to Diwali, Tata Motors delivered more than 1 lakh vehicles across its portfolio, reflecting a 33% increase compared to the same festive period last year.

In the SUV segment, the Nexon recorded over 38,000 units in September 2025, showing a 73% year-on-year rise. The Punch followed with 32,000 units, up 29% from the corresponding period last year.

The company’s electric vehicle range also reported growth, with more than 10,000 EVs retailed, a 37% increase year-on-year. This contributed to the overall rise in vehicle deliveries across the passenger vehicle portfolio.

The Navratri-to-Diwali window is traditionally one of the strongest sales periods for automakers in India. Tata Motors figures indicate higher demand across multiple segments compared to last year’s festive season.

According to the company, the delivery trend observed during this period will serve as a key indicator for the remaining months of the fiscal year. Tata Motors also mentioned that several new product introductions are scheduled for later in the year.
