'Bison Kaalamadan' box office collection Day 7 updates and Day 6 updated: Set to again have a higher day than 'Dude'

After five days of being behind Dude at the Tamil Nadu box office, Bison Kaalamaadan finally collected higher than its main Diwali opponent on Wednesday (October 22). This was also the first working day for the Diwali releases since the release day as Monday and Tuesday were holidays due to Diwali.

The Dhruv Vikram-starrer had a tracked gross of Rs 2.82 crore on its sixth day while Dude reported a tracked figure of Rs 2.64 crore. It must be noted that the actual figures would be higher for both films as it would also include the footfalls of people who didn't do advance booking. There are also theatres in interior regions of Tamil Nadu where systematic tracking isn't logistically possible.

However, it is safe to assume that both films have grossed over Rs 3 crore on their sixth day at the Tamil Nadu box office. For Bison Kaalamaadan, it indicates a sensational hold at the ticket windows with superb word-of-mouth working a treat across all circuits. For Dude, though, it is a big drop although the massive five-day Diwali weekend has ensured a success.

Bison Kaalamaadan too is set to be a commercial success and it is only a question of how big. The Mari Selvaraj directorial is getting more shows and could have a better second weekend than Dude in Tamil Nadu. The six-day Tamil Nadu collection for Bison Kaalamaadan is set to be around Rs 29 crore with the worldwide gross touching the Rs 35-36 crore range.

On its seventh day, the trend remains similar as Bison Kaalamaadan looks to have a strong probability of having another higher day than Dude in Tamil Nadu.
