Skoda launches all new Octavia RS, priced at Rs 49.99 Lakh

JAMMU, Oct 23: To commemorate its 25 years of its journey in the country, Škoda Auto India launched all-new Octavia RS in a function held here today.
Available in limited numbers as a Fully-Built Unit (FBU), the Octavia RS embodies unmatched driving dynamics, bold design and the unmistakable RS spirit, making its comeback in India as an exclusive icon for enthusiasts and purists alike.

At the heart of the Octavia RS is a 2.0 TSI turbocharged petrol engine, producing 195 kW (265 PS) of power and 370 Nm of torque.
Paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, the car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h.
The all-new Octavia RS continues Škoda’s bold design language, accentuated by full LED Matrix headlights, LED tail lamps with dynamic indicators and glossy black styling elements.
Sitting on striking 19-inch Elias anthracite alloy wheels with low-profile 225/40 R19 sports tyres, the car projects an unmistakably sporty and aggressive stance. Its dynamic silhouette is further complemented by a choice of five vibrant colour options: Mamba Green, Candy White, Race Blue, Magic Black and Velvet Red.
The Octavia RS is equipped with Škoda’s latest ADAS suite, including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Assist and Intelligent Park Assist.
Safety is further enhanced with 10 airbags, a 360-degree Area View camera, ISOFIX child seat mounts, a Head-Up Display and driving stability systems.
The car also features the premium Canton 675W 11-speaker sound system with subwoofer, along with an electrically operated boot with virtual peda, and a bunch of Simply Clever features, among others.
The 2025 Octavia RS sedan has been launched at Rs 49.99 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India).
Deliveries for this performance sedan are scheduled to begin from November 6, 2025.
