Electric mobility solutions provider MoEVing on Thursday announced a partnership with leading Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle dealers to lease a fleet of 700 electric small commercial vehicles (e-SCVs).
According to a company statement, the vehicles will be deployed for last-mile delivery operations across key sectors such as e-commerce, logistics, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). The deployment will cover more than 10 major cities, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Kolkata.
As part of the collaboration, MoEVing will work with Pascos, Johar Motors, and Bhandari Automobiles—three of Tata Motors’ top commercial vehicle dealers—to roll out the fleet, which will include the popular Ace EV and Ace Pro EV models.
The initiative is aimed at accelerating the adoption of electric commercial vehicles in India’s growing last-mile logistics ecosystem, while supporting businesses in meeting their sustainability and carbon reduction goals.
“We have had an excellent experience working with Tata Motors and are looking forward to deploying these vehicles across various use cases and segments,” MoEVing founder and CEO Vikash Mishra said.
The company’s business model for operating them on lease will enable scalable, cost-effective deployment of electric vehicles, streamline fleet ownership and maintenance, and accelerate scalability, he added.
Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, Vice President & Business Head SCVPU, Pinaki Haldar said this partnership between MoEVing and the company’s leading dealer partners marks a pivotal step in scaling sustainable last-mile logistics.
