Rs 2.56 lakh worth of rice meant for Anna Bhagya scheme seized

Government-subsidized rice intended for the Anna Bhagya scheme was seized near Maravanthe Beach in Kundapur. Officials intercepted a lorry transporting 107 quintals of rice, valued at Rs 2.56 lakh, illegally to Mandya. A case has been registered against the driver and the loader under the Essential Commodities Act.
