Will Manchester United help their die-hard fan to complete SHOCKING 'haircut challenge' this season?

How far would you go to support your favourite football club? It is a question that is often met with subjective answers of diversity. Manchester United is one of the most followed clubs across the globe and trust football fans to come out with creative fanboy acts.

It is also been a great couple of weeks for the Red Devils who have now won three Premier League games in a row under Ruben Amorim. Prior to this streak, they had never even won back-to-back games since the Portugese manager took over. With a bolstered squad of fantastic new signings like Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha, United are enjoying a purple patch.

If the Red Devils win their next two EPL games, it would mean five wins in a row - an unprecedented achievement for the club when you factor their decline in recent years. Winning five games in a row would also help one of their homegrown diehard fans to complete a shocking challenge. Surprised? Wait till you hear the whole thing.

A few months into the 2024-25 English Premiere League season, a passionate United fan named Frank in October 2024 made a huge 'haircut challenge' to support his Old Trafford club. According to Frank, the conditions were straightforward - he wouldn't cut his hair until Manchester United registered five wins in a row. It was outlandish, no doubt, given that United were struggling to even win a game.

The 2024-25 season was a nightmare that just refused to end for United as they finished at 15th on the points table, something unheard of for the United teams of yesteryear. Needless to say, Frank was heartbroken but he didn't flinch from his challenge and once the 2025-26 season started, it was back to business for the diehard fan who continued to hope in his favourite club.

Frank has constantly been updating the daycount of his challenge through his Instagram/YouTube account 'theunitedstrand' where he also posts his opinions about football and everything else. There is a video dated sometime in 2024 where he mentions that this would be his final haircut until Manchester United wins five games in a row.

On 5th October 2025, Frank put a video marking one year of his 'haircut challenge' and at that time, they had never even won two games in a row. Since he started the challenge, United had a 23-20 win-loss record with 15 draws in between. It's been three weeks since that anniversary video and United are two wins away from granting Frank his outrageous wish and completing the 'haircut challenge'.

United's next two games are both away fixtures, against Nottingham Forest and Tottenham respectively. In recent years, both have been bogey teams for Amorim's men but their recent form shows promise of them erasing the past worries. It's been 387 days now since Frank cut his hair and all eyes are on the Red Devils now.

Will they or won't they?
