'The Family Man' Season 3 release date: When is Manoj Bajpayee series returning on Prime Video?

After fourth months since its announcement, Prime Video has officially announced the streaming date of The Family Man Season 3. Manoj Bajpayee will return as the endearing Srikant Tiwari on November 21, 2025.

In June, Prime Video released an official teaser poster confirming that a third season was on the way.

The new season, once again, comes from creators Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, known informally as Raj & DK, who also co-wrote it with Suman Kumar. Returning cast members, aside from Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari, also include Priyamani as his wife, Sharib Hashmi, Ashlesha Thakur, and Vedant Sinha. Jaideep Ahlawat (Paatal Lok) will join this season as an antagonist.

Other cast members include Nimrat Kaur, Sundeep Kishan, Jugal Hansraj, Gul Panag, Shreya Dhanwantary, Darshan Kumar, Dalip Tahil, Seema Biswas, Vipin Kumar Sharma, and Harman Singha.

As per the official logline, "the stakes and dangers are higher than ever before, as Manoj Bajpayee (Srikant) is pushed to his limits when he comes face-to-face with formidable new adversaries in Jaideep Ahlawat (Rukma) and Nimrat Kaur (Meera). On the run, Srikant must navigate uncharted territories while confronting threats and enemies from both within and beyond the nation’s borders."

In an official statement, Nikhil Madhook, Director & Head of Originals, Prime Video, India, said: “The Family Man has redefined long-format storytelling, becoming part of everyday conversations, social discourse, and the broader cultural zeitgeist. It exemplifies our very successful collaboration with D2R Films, who have consistently cut through the clutter with stories that are both extremely engaging and widely entertaining, perfectly complementing the diverse repertoire of Prime Video. The upcoming season promises an even more thrilling ride, with its signature blend of humor and action backed by stellar performances from the ensemble cast. And we are truly excited to bring this to audiences across the world.”

The first season, comprising 10 episodes, premiered in 2019 and the second, with 9 episodes, streamed in 2021.
