'Thamma' Day 9 Box Office Collection: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer crosses Rs 150 crore in worldwide collection

Thamma starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandana in lead roles has entered the Rs 150 crore club in worldwide box office collection, according to Koimoi.
This comes a day after Thamma entered the Rs 100 crore club in net India box office collection, reported Sacnilk. Produced by Maddock Films at a budget of Rs 145 crore, Thamma received mixed reviews.
In domestic gross collection, the romantic horror comedy has minted Rs 121.5 crore in eight days, according to Sacnilk. This makes Thamma the fourth highest grosser for Ayushmann Khurrana.
The overseas collection of Thamma in the first eight days was recorded at Rs 17.5 crore.
The earnings have dipped after the festival week. On its opening day on October 21, Thamma earned Rs 24 crore in net domestic collection. After Day 1 success of Thamma, Ayushmann Khurrana and Amar Kaushik visited Siddhivinayak Temple to seek blessings of Ganpati Bappa. This was Ayushmann's highest opening yet.
Day 2 saw Rs 18.6 crore collection while Day 3 saw an earning of Rs 13 crore. The movie minted Rs 10 crore on Day 4 while it raked in Rs 13.1 crore on Day 5. On Day 6, it bagged Rs 12.6 crore.
On Monday, the collection dipped to Rs 4.3 crore and on Tuesday, it slightly rose to Rs 5.75 crore. On Wednesday, early estimates put the figures at Rs 1.09 crore, according to Sacnilk.
