Adam Driver to headline 'Rabbit, Rabbit' from 'Adolescence' director

Emmy Award winner Philip Barantini has bagged his next high-profile project. The acclaimed filmmaker behind Adolescence and Boiling Point will direct Adam Driver in a crime thriller titled Rabbit, Rabbit for Netflix.
Peter Craig, who co-wrote the scripts of The Batman, The Town, and Top Gun: Maverick, is involved as writer, creator and showrunner. Craig was recently involved in the Apple TV series Dope Thief as executive producer.
Driver, known for such acclaimed dramas as Paterson and Marriage Story, bas been cast as an escaped convict who gets trapped in an intense hostage situation of his own making and his dynamic with a veteran FBI crisis negotiator. The actor will also be involved as an exec producer alongside Craig and Barantini.

Meanwhile, Barantini recently teamed up with musician Ed Sheeran for an ambitious musical experience titled One Shot with Ed Sheeran, which will be available for streaming on November 21.
The music documentary will have Sheeran moving through New York City while performing his best tracks.
Netflix promises an experience where Sheeran will "take viewers along as he spends one afternoon traveling the streets of the Big Apple while performing his greatest hits — playing impromptu gigs on sidewalks and the subway, interacting with fans and unsuspecting passersby, and more. And it’ll all be captured in a single take."
Barantini has by now proved himself as a master of single-take storytelling, having previously employed the approach in another Stephen Graham-starrer Boiling Point, a feature film depicting the workings of a restaurant. He later directed the four-episode sequel series of the same name, co-created by Graham.
Adolescence, which became Netflix's second most-watched show ever, won big at the 77th Primetime Emmys 2025 with 6 awards. It was co-created by actor Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne.
