NFR revises schedules of 18 trains for enhanced punctuality
The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has revised the timings of Eighteen (18) trains at selected stations across its network to improve passenger convenience and ensure better punctuality. The revised schedules are being implemented in phases effective from 25th October to 01st November, 2025 as per the following details:
Effective from 25th October, 2025: Train No. 15719/15720 (Katihar – Siliguri – Katihar) Intercity Express at Katihar and Siliguri stations; Train No. 22301 (Howrah – New Jalpaiguri) Vande Bharat Express at New Jalpaiguri station; Train No. 12363 (Kolkata – Haldibari) Superfast Express at Haldibari and Harishchandrapur stations; Train no. 15464 (Siliguri – Balurghat) Intercity Express from Balurghat to Siliguri station; Train no. 13246 (Ara – New Jalpaiguri) Capital Express at New Jalpaiguri station & Train No. 15723 (Jogbani – Siliguri) Express at Siliguri Town station.
Effective from 27th October, 2025: Train No. 13141 (Sealdah – New Alipurduar) Teesta Torsa Express at New Alipurduar, New Cooch Behar, Ghoksadanga, Falakata, Dhubguri, New Maynaguri, Jalpaiguri Road and Belakoba stations.
Effective from 28th October, 2025: Train No. 13248 (Ara – Kamakhya) Capital Express at Kamakhya, Goalpara Town and New Bongaigaon stations; Train No. 15077 (Kamakhya – Gomti Nagar) Express at Kamakhya, Goalpara Town, New Bongaigaon stations.
Effective from 29th October, 2025: Train No. 15661 (Ranchi – Kamakhya) Express at Kamakhya station.
Effective from 30th October, 2025: Train No. 13142 (New Alipurduar – Sealdah) Teesta Torsa Express from Samsi to New Alipurduar station; Train No. 22302 (New Jalpaiguri – Howrah) Vande Bharat Express at New Jalpaiguri and Kishanganj stations; Train No. 22233 (New Jalpaiguri – Patna) Vande Bharat Express at New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj and Barsoi stations; Train No. 22234 (Patna – New Jalpaiguri) Vande Bharat Express at New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, Barsoi and Katihar stations; Train No. 15644 (Kamakhya – Puri) Express from Kamakhya to Harishchandrapur station.
Effective from 31st October, 2025: Train No. 12364 (Haldibari – Kolkata) Superfast Express at Haldibari, Jalpaiguri, New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj and Harishchandrapur stations.
Effective from 01st November, 2025: Train no. 13245 (New Jalpaiguri – Ara) Capital Express at New Jalpaiguri station.
With continuous infrastructure improvements, NFR has increased train speeds and operational efficiency, ensuring a faster, safer and more punctual travel experience for passengers. Passengers are requested to verify the details of train running status and schedule on real time basis at National Train Enquiry System (NTES) before undertaking their journey.
