Woman loses Rs 5.58 lakh to online task job scam

A 38-year-old woman from Karkala was defrauded of Rs 5.58 lakh in an online task job scam. Lured by a Telegram advertisement, she initially invested small amounts and received profits, leading her to transfer a substantial sum for higher returns. The accused failed to return her money or profits.
