These two Indian-Americans surpassed Mark Zuckerberg as the world’s youngest self-made billionaire: They are college dropouts
Three 22-year-olds, including two Indian-American founders, have become the world’s youngest self-made billionaires by founding Mercor, a $10 billion San Francisco-based AI recruitment startup. The company connects AI laboratories with skilled human experts, employing over 30,000 contractors globally. Founders Brendan Foody, Adarsh Hiremath, and Surya Midha dropped out of Harvard and Georgetown after receiving Thiel Fellowships. Mercor has raised $350 million in funding, pivoted to a global labour marketplace, and continues rapid growth in the human-in-the-loop AI sector.
