Russia launches new nuclear submarine built to carry ‘doomsday’ underwater drone: Report

Russia has unveiled a new nuclear submarine, Khabarovsk, built to carry the Poseidon underwater nuclear drone — a weapon some officials have called a “doomsday missile” capable of devastating coastal nations. The vessel was launched at the Sevmash shipyard in Severodvinsk during a ceremony led by Defence Minister Andrei Belousov.
