During this period, both runways 09/27 and 14/32 will be completely closed from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Mumbai Airport has two intersecting runways: the main runway 9/27 and the secondary runway 14/32. Together, they handle approximately 950 flights daily, making it the second-busiest airport in the country after Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.
A Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) has already been issued to enable airlines and other relevant agencies to adjust their flight scheduling and staff planning in advance. MIAL stated that such advance information facilitates better coordination of operations and minimizes inconvenience to passengers. During maintenance, technical inspections of the runway, surface repairs, lighting systems, markings, and drainage systems will be conducted to ensure future safety and quality of flights.
