DACA J&K reconstitutes body

JAMMU, Nov 5: The body of the Differently Abled Cricket Association (DACA) of Jammu & Kashmir was reconstituted today under the chairmanship of Vishal Sharma, Senior Advocate and Deputy Solicitor General of India, at Jammu.
The newly formed body comprises Vishal Sharma (Deputy Solicitor General of India) as chairman, Rajesh Gill (former Ranji Trophy player as mentor/founder, Ashish Singh as vice president, Avinash Uttam as general secretary, Sudhir Singh as treasurer, Madan Kumar as joint secretary and Saleem ur Rehman as chief selector.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held for providing better exposure and opportunities to specially-abled cricketers of J&K. Chairman Vishal Sharma announced that a grand premier league for specially-abled cricketers will soon be organized on the pattern of the Indian Premier League (IPL), inviting players from across the country.
