Air India Direct Flight

Until now, there was no direct flight from Delhi to Manila, the Philippines. Previously, flights from India to Manila required a direct flight via Singapore, Bangkok, or Kuala Lumpur, which could easily take a full day. That won’t be the case anymore. Fortunately, Air India has launched its first non-stop flight from Delhi to Manila, the capital of the Philippines. With this, you can now reach Manila in just six hours. Now there will be no transit and no need to wait for long.

14-day visa-free entry for Indians

This new Air India flight will operate five days a week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. According to Air India CEO Campbell Wilson, this route will not only boost tourism but also strengthen business and cultural ties between India and the Philippines. The Philippines is also offering Indians 14 days of visa-free entry, meaning they can travel to the Philippines without paying visa fees.

Welcome to Manila

As soon as you land at Manila Airport, you’ll be greeted by the warm welcome of the Filipino people, smiling faces, and a pleasant sea breeze. Instead of garlands of flowers, you’ll be greeted with pearls. The Spanish, British, and American influences are clearly visible in the city’s culture.

Plan a Manila Tour Package

Day 1: Intramuros – Old Manila City – The Old Manila area resembles Delhi’s Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. It’s less crowded. The buildings are reminiscent of old Spain. In Old Manila, be sure to visit Fort Santiago, San Agustin Church, and Luneta Park. The Philippines has preserved its history remarkably well. Don’t miss a horse ride here. Don’t forget to sample the old distilleries and local liquors. They also serve mango-flavored liquor, a specialty of the Philippines.

The Indian company Infosys also has its office here. This is the only Indian company whose office is in BGC. Walking around it gives the feeling of Connaught Place in Delhi. The National Museum of the Philippines houses old gold jewellery, utensils, coins etc. of the kings and queens there. Here you can also walk on gold. Gold is kept under the glass floor, on which you can walk. Here you will get the feeling of walking on gold.

Day 3: Pagsanjan Falls – Pagsanjan Falls is located two and a half hours from Manila. Reaching the falls by boat is a memorable experience. The river between two mountains, the rain, and the boat ride over the waterfalls is nothing short of heavenly. The scenery will be unforgettable. Don’t forget to visit Devil’s Cave.

Day 4: Manila’s nightlife will give you a Dubai feel. Casinos, bars, and pubs abound. Enjoying your drinks while enjoying the view of the city from your rooftop terrace at night will make you forget your fatigue. Don’t forget to visit the Mall of Asia for shopping. For budget shopping in Manila, you can visit Greenhills. Shops selling everything from jewelry to food are available here. Don’t forget to buy dried mangoes from Manila; they are a specialty here.

Why go to Manila?

A return ticket from Delhi to Manila costs around ₹45,000. Hotel, food, and local expenses are also quite low. Budget hotels are easy to find here. Currency is also cheap. 1.60 rupees equals 1 peso (Vietnamese currency). If you’ve already visited Singapore, Thailand, or Bali, be sure to try the Philippines. Here you’ll find everything: history, ocean, beaches, waterfalls, nightlife, and excellent hospitality.
