CRPF ASI found dead inside camp

JAMMU, Nov 10: An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was found dead inside his battalion’s camp at Chatha area here today.
Early morning, ASI Krishna Kumar (53) son of Jagdeo Dass of Bihar at present 84 Battalion CRPF camp, Chatha, was spotted in an unconscious state inside his Battalion camp by his colleagues, who informed the police, a police official said.
Accordingly, he was taken to Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, where doctors declared him as dead on arrival, he said.

Later, his body was shifted to the Government Medical College Jammu for conducting the post-mortem examination, the police official added.
Meanwhile, police have initiated inquest proceedings under Section 194 of the BNSS to ascertain the exact reason behind the death of the CRPF cop.
