However, in an interview with HT City, Abhishek said that the allegations made against him are “completely baseless” and “an attempt to exploit fame.”

He told the portal, “These claims are baseless and have been made in the past. I was young when I got married—scared, to be honest—but whatever happened was by mutual understanding. I never wanted anyone to exploit my fame for personal benefit.”

He added, “I have learned to stay away from people who are social parasites and fame diggers in life.”

When Abhishek was asked whether his ex-wife’s actions have prompted him to take legal action against her, the actor responded by saying, “People are with me. I prefer to focus more on my success. And success is the purest form of revenge. People have seen who I really am, and they’re with me.”
