Actor Govinda rushed to Mumbai hospital after fainting at home

Veteran Bollywood actor Govinda has been admitted to a Mumbai hospital after he fainted at home around midnight due to disorientation.

The 61-year-old actor has undergone several tests at the CritiCare hospital, and is awaiting the results, his friend and legal adviser Lalit Bindal said.

He also stated that the actor had initially received medication following a telephonic consultation with a doctor, but was later rushed to the hospital around 1 am for emergency treatment.

Bindal later shared Govinda’s health update in an Instagram post.

"My dear and respected @govinda_herono1 has been admitted in hospital with complaints of disorientation and unconscious (sic). I pray for his speedy recovery," he said.

Govinda was hospitalised just a day after he visited veteran actor Dharmendra, who is currently recovering at Breach Candy Hospital.

In a video shared online, the Raja Babu actor was seen leaving the hospital with a somber expression.

Last year, Govinda had suffered a bullet injury after he accidentally fired his licensed revolver. The bullet was extracted after an hour-long surgery.

According to reports, Govinda was getting ready to travel to Kolkata and was putting his revolver back in the cupboard when it accidentally went off.
