Earlier, Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed his fastest T20 century in IPL when he blasted a 35-ball hundred against the Gujarat Titans in Jaipur. He also became the youngest player in IPL history to score a century.

Vaibhav would have been dismissed on a golden duck if UAE captain Alishan Sharafu had grabbed on to a simple catch at cover off the first delivery of the match, off Muhammad Farazuddin’s delivery. The Gods were on the young teenager’s side and boy, did he make full use of it.

Suryavanshi’s century helped, India A to post a massive total 297/4 on the score board, which was for UAE, which could only manage 149/7 in reply.
