Rajouri: IED Recovered And Destroyed During Search Operation In Thanamandi

Rajouri, Nov 15 : Security forces on Saturday recovered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) during a search operation in the Thanamandi area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district.
Officials said that the device was detected during routine checks, following which a bomb disposal team was called in. The IED was safely destroyed on the spot by the specialists.
Further searches are underway in the area to rule out the presence of any additional explosive devices, they added. (KNC)
