Existing colleges at Paprola and Chhota Shimla will expand their intake to 36 and 24 students, respectively, while 12 new institutions — including district Ayurvedic hospitals in Bilaspur, Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Solan, Una and Nahan, as well as hospitals at Nalagarh, Dehra and Rampur —will offer 16 each. The initiative aims to develop skilled technicians, generate employment and position Himachal as a hub for wellness tourism.
