City school celebrates 20th annual day with cultural events and awards

Cambridge Innovative School celebrated its 20th year with the annual day of the foundational years (Nursery to Grade II). The event was graced by chief guest Akashi Jain, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP-I), Jalandhar.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by a soulful shabad that filled the auditorium with peace and devotion.

A specially curated play, based on the theme ‘Dream. Dare. Do’, captured the school’s mission of inspiring students to dream big, take bold steps and transform ideas into action. A heartfelt original song composed by students added a personal touch, expressing their love and connection with the school. The event also featured an energetic bhangra.

The Annual Report, presented by the students, highlighted the school’s achievements for 2025 across academics, innovation, technology, sports and leadership. Outstanding students were honoured for their accomplishments.

In her address, Akashi Jain applauded the school for its progressive approach. The programme concluded with the rendition of the school song followed by the National Anthem. Ajay Bhatia (Chairman) envisioned preparing students with 21st-century skills. Deepa Dogra (Chief Academic Officer) focused on holistic development, fostering creativity and critical thinking.
