IIM Ranchi: Successful Completion of the Sixth Batch of the Nurturing Future Leadership Program
IIM Ranchi successfully concluded the sixth batch of the Nurturing Future Leadership Program on Friday, November 14, 2025. The program was organized under the aegis of the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP) of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. This five-day residential training, conducted by IIM Ranchi, saw the enthusiastic participation of 33 educators from over 25 institutions across India, including Principals and senior educators. The objective of the program was to equip them with future-oriented leadership competencies, innovation-driven management perspectives, and key institutional development skills. The valedictory session was graced by Prof. Amit Sachan, Dean - Executive Education & Consulting (EEC), and Programme Directors Prof. Manish Bansal (Chairperson - EEC) and Prof. Kushagra Sharan. Prof. Sachan invited participants to share their experiences. Participants appreciated the training design, practical sessions, and case-based learning approach. Prof. Sachan encouraged teachers to promote experiential learning, management skills, and innovative academic practices in their respective institutions. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates to all 33 participants. Programme Director Prof. Kushagra Sharan delivered the vote of thanks, urging participants to apply enhanced knowledge, innovation, and modern leadership skills in their institutions to drive positive and meaningful transformation. He shared that the module was designed to help participating teachers not only understand theoretical concepts of management but also apply them effectively in teaching and institutional leadership.
The training sessions covered a broad range of topics including self-management, communication, teamwork, professional skills, critical thinking, and conscientious citizenship, preparing them to become visionary and value-driven academic leaders.
