Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi, wanted in Baba Siddique murder, to land in India today after deportation from US
Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and an accused in the killing of NCP leader Baba Siddique, is being sent back to India from the United States. He is expected to reach New Delhi on Wednesday morning. The US Department of Homeland Security informed Siddique’s son, Zeeshan, about the deportation in an email shared with NDTV. The message said that Anmol Bishnoi had been removed from the country by US authorities on November 18, 2025.
According to reports, Bishnoi is travelling on a flight along with two other men wanted by Punjab Police and nearly 200 people who were staying in the US illegally. The flight is expected to land in Delhi around 10 am.
Once he arrives at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) will arrest him. He is wanted in several cases in India, including organised crime and extortion linked to his brother Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang.
Anmol Bishnoi has played a major role in cross-border extortion for the Bishnoi gang. He is known for arranging shooters, sending money to different crime groups, giving threats while staying abroad, and planning targeted attacks using encrypted messages. All police cases filed against him are now being handled by the NIA.
Baba Siddique, a former minister in Maharashtra, was shot dead on October 12, 2024, outside his son Zeeshan’s office in Bandra. Police later arrested several people connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang for the murder. Lawrence is Anmol’s older brother and is currently in jail.
Anmol made headlines last year after he was added to the National Investigation Agency’s Most Wanted List and a Rs 10 lakh reward was set for his arrest. Anmol is also wanted in the case involving gunshots fired at actor Salman Khan’s home in April 2024.
Eighteen cases have been filed against him, including one that claims he provided weapons and logistical support to the men who murdered singer Sidhu Moosewala. Goldy Brar, another Bishnoi gang member, first took responsibility then later claimed it had been carried out to avenge a rival politician’s murder.
Top intelligence officials say Anmol was expelled from the US because of new immigration rules brought in by President Donald Trump. The updated policy requires the US to immediately detain and remove any illegal immigrant after their first asylum or immigration request is rejected.
