Mother of late Odia Singer Humane Sagar blames manager, says, ‘He was forced to perform…’
After the demise of the popular Odia singer, Humane Sagar, the music industry is recovering from the shockwaves. Now, in the recent development, the mother of Sagar has blamed the singer’s manager, accusing him of forcing Humane Sagar to perform on the stage. Sagar passed away at AIIMS Bhubaneswar on November 17 after multiple organ dysfunction.

After the death of Humane Sagar, his mother, Shefali Suna, has accused the singer’s manager of ill-treatment. She said, “My son was used. He was forced to do program even in serious condition.” She further added, “Even when his condition was bad, they made my son do stage shows.”
Ever since the news of Humane Sagar came out, there have been some accusations surrounding Shefali for seeking financial help for Humane’s health. At this, she stated, “I never begged for money for my son’s medical care.”
She has questioned the role of Sagar’s manager and organisers, causing her son’s collapse.

He was admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar on October 14, where he received intensive treatment. Over time, his health condition started to decline, resulting in multiple issues like bilateral pneumonia, acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF), dilated cardiomyopathy, severe respiratory failure, kidney injury, coagulopathy, and thrombocytopenia. The severity of the problems led to his death on November 17 at 9:08 pm.
