Hrithik Roshan’s mother pens an emotional note for Sussanne Khan’s mother, Zarine Khan after her demise: ‘Our children grew apart but…’

In the glitzy and glamorous world of showbiz, where most relationships are often superficial and just for name’s sake, there exist a few rare bonds that stand the test of time. One such bond was shared by Pinkie Roshan and Zarine Khan, a friendship that survived family transition and other ups and downs of life. A few days after the passing of Sussanne and Zayed Khan’s mother, Zarine Khan, a wave of heartfelt tributes poured in from the film fraternity. Among the many people who paid their tribute to Zarine Khan was her close friend and former samdhan, Pinkie Roshan (Hrithik Roshan’s Mother). Pinkie Roshan took to her Instagram to remember Zarine and shared an emotional note.

Zarine Khan’s Prayer Meet Attended by Bollywood Veterans

Zarine Khan, who passed away on November 7 at the age of 81, is survived by her husband Sanjay, daughters Sussanne, Farah, Simone Arora, and son Zayed. During her prayer meet, a lot of famous people came in attendance, including Jitendra, Salim Khan, Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik Roshan, Saba Azad, Fardeen Khan and Saif Ali Khan, among others. This April, Zarine and Sanjay Khan celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary.

Pinkie Roshan’s Heartfelt Instagram Note

Pinkie Roshan penned a deeply emotional tribute on Instagram, recalling their bond. She wrote,
“A friendship very rare. a relationship very precious. Two mothers whose hearts were happy for each other and happiest when our children turned our friendship into mother of the bride and mother of the groom. Till untill destiny had its own plans.”

She further added, “Our children grew apart and whilst facing their toughest phase we as mothers chose empathy and compassion over bitterness and hatred….. we got even closer as we consoled each other with tears in our eyes, hugged each other comforted each other……. tried our best and we found our bond getting stronger and our friendship,,, more secure than ever… Zar, I will miss you.”

A Bond That Stayed Strong Beyond Divorce

Pinkie also praised Zarine’s personality, writing, “Zarine Khan, in today’s world, where we all need therapy counselling but anyone who knew Zar ….she was therapy.”

She reminded fans that despite Hrithik and Sussanne’s separation in 2014, after four years of dating and 14 years of marriage, their bond remained untouched.
