India’s gamers, it’s that wild time of year again when foreign capitalistic traditions present us with some good deals. PlayStation India has announced its Black Friday Sale in India, and this year’s deals are set to trim your wallet like how Kratos pruned certain Nordic legends in the recent God of War games. PS Black Friday Sale will run from November 21 to December 4.

Whether you’re an old-school PlayStation veteran or just starting out (maybe you got your first console this Diwali), the 2025 discounts make this the perfect window to upgrade your gear or grab those must-play titles you’ve been stalking all year.

For starters, both the headliner PS5 consoles, the Disc (CFI-2008A01X) and Digital Edition (CFI-2008B01X), get a hefty Rs 5,000 price cut. This brings down your effective price to Rs 49,990 for the Disc model and Rs 44,990 for the Digital.

As rumours and industry buzz have it, the PS6 is more or less a 2017-18 affair, so the PS5 is still very much in the prime of its life cycle.

According to Sony, the offers will run on your usual suspects, Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, as well as brick-and-mortar stores like Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, and Sony Center.

Other accessories also get major price cuts.. DualSense controllers get a Rs 2,000 discount. This puts the main variants (White, Black, Red, Grey Camo) at just Rs 4,390 apiece, while special versions (Ice Blue, MET Blue, MET Red, CHRM Teal, and CHRM Indigo) prices come down to the Rs 4,390-4,849 window.

The DualSense Edge Wireless Controller gets a Rs 3000 cut to become Rs 15,990, while the PS VR2 headset gets a massive Rs 10,000 discount to just Rs 34,999.

Offers on PS5 games

But hardware is not where any sale shines. Backlog or not, every gamer needs a new title once in a while. PlayStation blockbusters like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Rise of the Ronin, God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition, and The Last of Us Part 1 Remake, all get discounts. Even popular PlayStation exclusives from the last couple of years, like Uncharted Legacy of Thieves, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, get discounts, along with new titles like Helldivers 2, Stellar Blade, Astro Bot, and Lego Horizon Adventures.

As a gamer who started their journey twenty years ago, console brands such as PlayStation giving out special offers is indeed a treat to watch. The Indian gaming industry has been on a steady growth trajectory, and we are only going to get more titles and offers going forward.
