WhatsApp rolls out Instagram Notes-like feature: Here’s how it works

WhatsApp is reintroducing its 'About' feature, allowing users to share temporary text updates visible to contacts. Similar to Instagram's Notes, these updates will appear at the top of chats and profiles, disappearing after 24 hours by default. Users can control visibility and duration, with Meta hinting at future enhancements beyond text-only content.
