"Engaged With Both Sides" White House Rejects Criticism Of Trump's Ukraine Peace Plan Favoring Putin

During her weekly press briefing, Karoline Leavitt said the president and his national security team remain "steadfast" in working toward and end to the war in Ukraine. She says the president is frustrated with both sides, with special envoy Steve Witkoff and Secretary of State Marco Rubio building a plan over the last month. They have been "engaged with both sides" in ongoing talks, she said, and the president supports the plan. "I know there's a lot of criticism out there and a lot of doubters, but I would just remind you of the historic success that this president and his team accomplished in the Middle East," Leavitt said, referring to Trump's plan for a Gaza ceasefire which has been endorsed by the United Nations. n18oc_crux | n18oc_world
