Southern California Gets Its Third Storm In Week, Coastal Areas Flooded
A third storm in just over a week brought heavy rain to Southern California, leading to flash flooding, road issues and snowfall in higher elevations. The powerful system pushed the region toward near-record November rainfall, with areas like Los Angeles receiving more than four times the usual amount for the month. While some neighborhoods experienced localized flooding, the storm also helped replenish reservoirs in a state heavily dependent on winter rain. Meteorologists say the system, fueled by an atmospheric river, has now moved east toward the mountains and Baja California.
