Tripti Bhatt was born in Almora, Uttarakhand. In an interview, she said she was born into a middle-class family. Tripti Bhatt, currently an accomplished IPS officer from Almora, Uttarakhand, belongs to a family mainly consisting of teachers and is the eldest of four siblings. She attended Beersheba Senior Secondary School, Almora, for her schooling and Kendriya Vidyalaya for her Class 12th. After earning an engineering degree from Pantnagar University, she joined the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) as an Assistant Manager.

Tripti Bhatt showed both great ability and integrity in her career. Which cadre and rank did she secure in UPSC?
In her first attempt to take the UPSC Civil Services Examination in 2013, Tripti Bhatt secured a remarkable 165th rank, opting to join the Indian Police Service (IPS). She was assigned to her home cadre and began her journey as Superintendent of Police (SP) in Dehradun. There, she worked as SP in Chamoli before being appointed as the Commander of the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) in Tehri Garhwal. Presently, she is holding the position of SP Intelligence and Security in Dehradun, where she is actively contributing to the management of state security and intelligence work.
