Night cleaning drive begins in Nayagaon

On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal, the Municipal Council, Nayagaon has launched a night cleaning campaign. Under the drive, the civic body would clean streets and markets of various wards at night.

MC Executive Officer Ravneet Singh said people would now get a clean and pure environment in the morning. He appealed to the residents to segregate the wet and dry garbage at their houses and shops before giving it to sanitation workers. Apart from this, people should avoid using banned single-use plastic and polythenes, he added.
