IMD Alert:  An alert has been issued again in UP regarding rain, thunderstorm and lightning. According to the latest update of the Meteorological Department, this phase will continue at different places in UP for the next 5 days. During this time, strong winds will also blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. Let us tell you that on Tuesday, strong winds blew at a speed of 36 kilometers per hour in Bahraich. At the same time, the temperature has also come down due to strong winds in Varanasi and surrounding areas. According to IMD, there will be a phase of rain and strong winds in both the eastern and western divisions of UP on Wednesday. During this, a yellow alert has been issued in Bareilly, Rampur, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Bahraich, Barabanki, Gonda, Ayodhya, Shravasti, Balrampur, Varanasi, Chandauli, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Ballia, Mau, Sonbhadra, Azamgarh, Ambedkar Nagar, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Kushinagar and Siddharthnagar. Along with this, an alert has been issued for rain, storm and lightning on May 1 and May 2.

Temperature crosses 42 degrees in Jhansi

According to the information given by Lucknow-based Amausi Meteorological Center, Jhansi was the hottest district in UP on Tuesday. The maximum temperature here was recorded at 42.4 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the temperature in Agra, Barabanki and Lakhimpur Kheri also crossed 40 degrees.
