Television actress Ankita Lokhande has cancelled her upcoming USA show, where she was scheduled to appear as an Honorary Guest at Miss Asia North America 2025 on May 11, following the tragic terror attacks in Pahalgam on April 22. On Wednesday, the Pavitra Rishta actress took to her social media handle to share the news with her fans, clarifying that the tour has not been cancelled permanently and will be rescheduled at a later date, when the situation feels more appropriate and under more peaceful circumstances.
Soon after Ankita shared the news, netizens slammed her, calling her a 'hypocrite,' with some even accusing her of using the Pahalgam victims for publicity. Others pointed out that she has been consistently posting fun dance reels on her Instagram handle, questioning why the terror attack didn't seem to affect her content earlier.
