Shanaya Kapoor is all set to make her long-awaited Bollywood debut opposite Vikrant Massey in the upcoming romantic drama 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan', slated to release on July 11, 2025. The makers unveiled a motion poster from the film, offering a glimpse into a story rooted in love, longing, and unsaid emotions.
Announcing the news on Instagram, Shanaya wrote, “This monsoon, don’t just fall, but feel the love. #AankhonkiGustaakhiyan In cinemas near you on 11th July 2025.” Her post was met with an outpouring of excitement and warmth from family and industry friends alike.

In 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan', Vikrant Massey takes on the role of a visually impaired musician, while Shanaya will portray a theatre performer. The film is an adaptation of Ruskin Bond’s well-loved short story 'The Eyes Have It' and promises a narrative filled with poetic silences and emotional depth.
The project is helmed by director Santosh Singh and penned by Niranjan Iyenger and Mansi Bagla. It is backed by Zee Studios and Mini Films, with production by Mansi and Varun Bagla. Music for the film has been composed by Vishal Mishra, adding to the soulful vibe of this musical romance.
Shanaya was earlier set to debut with Karan Johar’s 'Bedhadak', co-starring Lakshya and Gurfateh Pirzada, but the film was reportedly shelved. With 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan', she steps into the industry with a fresh start. Her upcoming projects also include 'Tu Yaa Main', 'JC', and the series 'Student of the Year'.
