According to Girish Linganna, aerospace and defense analyst and former director of ADD Engineering Components (India) Pvt Ltd (an Indo-German company), Pakistan is extremely afraid of India’s secret weapon KALI. It is believed that the Indian KALI project is used to melt the snow on the mountains. It is said that the codename Operation Whitewash is carried out on snow-covered mountains, which causes avalanches. However, no official word has come out on this. That is why it remains a secret till date.
Pakistan has been accusing that Kali creates havoc
When in April 2012, a terrible blizzard hit the Gyari sector of Pakistan-occupied Siachen and a large part of a glacier collapsed, the base camp of the Pakistan Army was completely destroyed and about 140 of its soldiers were killed. After which, it was alleged in Pakistan that India had used its secret weapon ‘Kali’ to melt the glacier as a test.
What is Kali, first understand it well
According to reports, KALI is a secret weapon of India. Its full name is Kilo Ampere Linear Injector (KALI). KALI fires a powerful electron beam. This beam can damage the enemy’s electronic system. It has been jointly developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC). The KALI series is constantly being updated.

KALI weapon can protect the country from missiles. It is believed that Pakistan and China know about this weapon. They do not talk about it openly, but they are afraid. KALI is a linear electron accelerator. It is also called a particle accelerator. In simple words, it emits powerful electron beams (Relativistic Electron Beams-REBs). Kali melts the enemy’s target
Work on this project started in 1989, which was being developed by the Accelerator and Pulse Power Division of Bhabha Atomic Research Center i.e. BARC. DRDO is also involved in this project. Initially it was made for the industry. However, now it can be used as a weapon. The REBs coming out of KALI are different from the laser beam. Laser beams destroy the target by piercing it. KALI contains REB microwaves. They have a lot of power. This power melts and damages the electronic system of the target.
