Masterstroke by PM Modi as India plans to jam signals of Pakistani planes and fighter jets

New Delhi: The relationship between India and Pakistan is witnessing a new low after the Pahalgam terrorist attack. With the possibility of a military response from India, Pakistan is on high alert. In this situation, India has dealt a significant blow to Pakistan’s navigation system. According to the reports, India has deployed advanced jamming systems to disrupt the signals of global navigation satellite systems used by Pakistani military aircraft. These systems have been stationed along the western border. India’s jamming systems are expected to interfere with satellite-based navigation platforms including GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou, which are reportedly used by Pakistani Air Force aircraft.

Before this, India had decided to close its airspace to Pakistani aircraft. India’s airspace will remain closed for Pakistan from April 30 to May 23. It is important to note that a jamming system is a part of electronic warfare, designed to disrupt radio frequency signals. It often sends false signals to confuse enemy equipment.

These systems deployed by India are high-frequency jamming systems specifically designed to target GNSS signals used in military operations.

After Pakistan violated the ceasefire, activity has intensified in several sectors along the Line of Control (LoC). The Indian Army is closely monitoring the situation and has issued an operational alert in border areas. Following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Indian government has moved into action mode and is taking strict measures against Pakistan. Meanwhile, tensions continue to rise along the LoC.

Pakistan has been repeatedly violating the ceasefire for the past seven days, firing with light weapons throughout the night. However, on Wednesday, Pakistan escalated the situation further by opening fire on the international border in the Paragwal sector of Jammu.

According to reports, until Tuesday morning, the Pakistani army was only violating the ceasefire along the Line of Control. But now, as of Wednesday night, it has also opened fire on the international border in Jammu’s Paragwal sector, further deteriorating the situation.
