TVS Motor Reports Sales Growth Across Key Segments in April 2025

TVS Motor Company reported a 16% increase in overall sales, rising from 383,615 units in April 2024 to 443,896 units in April 2025.

The two-wheeler segment recorded a 15% rise, with total sales moving up from 374,592 units in April 2024 to 430,330 units in April 2025. Within this category, domestic sales grew by 7%, increasing from 301,449 to 323,647 units year-on-year.

Motorcycle sales climbed 17%, up from 188,110 units in April 2024 to 220,527 units in April 2025. Scooter sales showed an 18% rise, going from 144,126 units to 169,741 units over the same period.

The company’s electric vehicle (EV) segment saw significant growth. EV sales reached 27,684 units in April 2025, compared to 17,403 units a year earlier—representing a 59% increase.

In international markets, total exports improved by 45%, rising from 80,508 units in April 2024 to 116,880 units in April 2025. Two-wheeler exports grew by 46%, with figures increasing from 73,143 units to 106,683 units.

Sales of three-wheelers also expanded. This segment recorded a 50% growth rate, moving from 9,023 units in April 2024 to 13,566 units in April 2025.

The overall figures indicate a consistent rise across various product categories, with international sales and electric vehicles contributing notably to the year-on-year growth. The company’s performance across two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and exports reflects a broader increase in demand in both domestic and international markets.
