Vande Bharat train: Indian Railways’ special train Vande Bharat Train will now also pass through Gopalganj and Thawe Junction. Vande Bharat Train will run between Patna and Gorakhpur. This information was received after the meeting of the Divisional Committee of Members of Parliament of Varanasi Division of Northeast Railway.
In this meeting held under the chairmanship of Saran MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Gopalganj MP-cum-JDU National Treasurer Dr. Alok Kumar Suman raised his demands. He said that the department’s approval was received for the operation of Vande Bharat Train from Patna to Gorakhpur. It will also have stoppages in Thawe and Gopalganj. The MP expressed happiness over this.
The timing of many trains running from Thawe will change
The MP also placed his proposals in front of the committee regarding the time limit and movement of trains, station expansion and said that train number 55110 which goes from Chhapra Kachhari to Thawe. It reaches Thawe at 9:25. Again, this rack stops at Thawe for about an hour and becomes train number 55112 and departs for Siwan-Maharajganj at 10:30. If this train is not stopped at Thawe for an hour and is run continuously for Siwan, then it will be convenient for the passengers going to office.
If train number 55035 coming from Siwan towards Thawe is run at 18:05 instead of 17:35, then passengers returning from office will be facilitated. If train number 15080 runs from Thawe at 4:30 instead of 6:50 in the morning, then passengers going to Patna will reach Patna around 10:00. This time will be good for people to reach office.
In the meeting, the MP demanded to extend train number 22411/22412 AC Superfast Arunachal Express and run it on Siwan-Thawe-Kaptanganj-Gorakhpur-Delhi route. The MP said that the survey work for providing pit and yard facilities at Thawe Junction has been completed. The work of making the fourth line and pit here has been stopped at the divisional level.
