'Have Some Decency': Netizens SLAM Paps For Zooming Into Khushi Kapoor's Living Room After Grandmother Nirmal Kapoor's Death
A video of actress Khushi Kapoor has surfaced on Instagram, drawing criticism from netizens for what many are calling an unacceptable breach of privacy. The footage shows the young actress sitting quietly inside the living room at Anil Kapoor's residence in Mumbai on Friday.
Khushi was at the Kapoor household to pay her last respects to her grandmother, Nirmal Kapoor, who passed away earlier that day at the age of 90. The solemn moment, however, turned controversial after paparazzi reportedly zoomed their cameras inside the home, capturing Khushi.
"Khushi Kapoor at the last rites of her grandmother," the caption of the post read.
The video, shared by a celebrity paparazzo account, quickly went viral and it drew strong backlash from social media users. Many called on media outlets and photographers to respect boundaries, especially during such sensitive times.
Several users also pointed out that celebrities, despite their public lives, deserve privacy during personal tragedies.
"Why the hell are you zooming at her at such a time," read a comment. Another user asked, "Why r u recording her in such way?"
"Literally zooming into someone’s living room! Isn't that a breach to privacy," an angry user wrote.
"Ab apne ghar me shanti se bechare ye log baith bhi nahi sakte," commented another person on Instagram.
"Leave them alone guys not everything is Paps material," suggested a fan.
Another person commented, "Kisi ki privacy ki to izzat kar liya karo dallo, kam se kam aise time me to mat pahucha karo."
"Have some decency and respect peoples privacy in times of mourning," read a comment.

Nirmal Kapoor, the Kapoor family matriarch, was widely respected and had been a pillar of strength for the family over the decades. Her last rites took place in Mumbai on Saturday (May 3).
Kapoor family members, including Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi, Anshula Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Sunita Kapoor, and others, arrived to pay their last respects.
Several B-Town celebrities like Anupam Kher, Hansal Mehta, Ayan Mukherji, Anil Thadani, Sham Kaushal, Seema Pahwa, Manoj Pahwa, Ashoke Pandit, Karan Johar, Fardeen Khan amongst others reached the creamatorium to pay respects.
